Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Leonard Norton (ranked 2144 p4p, 2266 weight class) and Darcy Walsh (ranked 209 p4p, 225 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Walsh uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Norton.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Walsh gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Walsh tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Norton is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Walsh buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Walsh!! Walsh is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Norton throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

After winning the bout, Leonard Norton thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
