Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Declan McCoy (ranked 81 p4p, 1480 weight class) and Adrian Ortiz (ranked 10 p4p, 185 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Declan McCoy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Adrian Ortiz!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCoy avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
McCoy was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
McCoy staying out of range there.
Ortiz throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
McCoy lands with an uppercut that bounces Ortiz off the cage and back into range.
Ortiz looks to land a left hand but McCoy moved out of range nicely.

Ortiz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McCoy stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

McCoy definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ortiz has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

McCoy drops Ortiz with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ortiz looks back up at him and smiles so McCoy waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
