Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bear Loman (ranked 1625 p4p, 737 weight class) and Lawson Serrano (ranked 205 p4p, 98 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Lawson Serrano enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bear Loman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lawson Serrano!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loman misses with a looping left.
Serrano shoots in looking for a takedown but Loman manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Serrano's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Serrano has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

It looks like Lawson Serrano has been cut.

I've got Serrano winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Lawson Serrano was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
