Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Larry LeFell (ranked 1144 p4p, 394 weight class) and David Snake (ranked 148 p4p, 51 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Larry LeFell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, David Snake! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snake moves into the clinch. Snake jumps guard.
LeFell looking to pass the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. LeFell slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Snake working for submissions but it's allowed LeFell to get to half guard.
Still in half guard, LeFell seems content to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. LeFell prevents Snake from improving his position. Snake looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. LeFell is figuring out what he wants to do next. Snake is staying active underneath LeFell, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Snake pulls guard effortlessly. Snake keeping moving, preventing LeFell from controlling successfully. Snake is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
LeFell is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Snake has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but LeFell can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Snake is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. LeFell is aware though and is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snake working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. LeFell doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. LeFell manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. LeFell trying to control the position from guard on top but Snake is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. LeFell is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Snake looking for a guillotine here but LeFell defends easily.
LeFell wants to control from the top but Snake keeps moving. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
David Snake dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Snake stuffs the takedown. Snake has managed to clinch.
LeFell jumps guard but Snake turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Snake ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Snake no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Snake looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

LeFell controls the pace of the fight for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Snake is looking for a sweep. LeFell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Snake keeps working. Snake is trying to control LeFell's posture but LeFell avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. A lull in the action here as LeFell stalls from top position. Snake tries to improve position but can't. LeFell trying to control the position but Snake is working away. Snake tries to buck LeFell off but LeFell is having none of it. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
That's three minutes gone in the round. LeFell wants to control but Snake is keeping him busy.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Snake drives through and clinches with LeFell against the cage.
LeFell is looking to take this one to the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Larry LeFell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Snake tries to pull guard but LeFell forces him back to his feet, against the cage. LeFell tries for a takedown but Snake manages to get underhooks.

LeFell pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Snake is keeping the position for now. David Snake has got the better of the ground game so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! LeFell is pushing down on Snake's leg trying to pass to half guard. Snake is fighting to maintain full guard but LeFell has managed to sneak the leg through. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
David Snake showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! LeFell darts in looking for a takedown but Snake gets double underhooks and turns LeFell into the cage. David Snake is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Snake decides to pull guard. Snake has his hands on LeFell's head, controlling the position. LeFell looking to sit in guard and control but Snake gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Snake is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The referee asks Snake politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Snake prefers to stall for the moment though. LeFell is positioning himself to get back to half guard. LeFell struggling a bit here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. LeFell trying to remain calm as Snake controls from the top position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Larry LeFell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! David Snake is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Snake uses good head movement to avoid the hook from LeFell. David Snake is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A swing and a miss from LeFell. Snake clinches up with LeFell and pushes him back against the cage. LeFell goes for a takedown in the clinch but Snake prevents it.
LeFell is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Snake is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. LeFell is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Snake defends well. Snake looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. And that's the end of the fight! David Snake comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Snake has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
