Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bennett Peck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eli Vaughn!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaughn misses with a takedown attempt - Peck sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Vaughn shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Peck napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Peck bucks up and tries to throw Vaughn off but instead Vaughn has got his back!
Vaughn lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Peck.
Well, with Vaughn on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Peck is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Can Peck hold on?! Vaughn is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Vaughn lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Peck hold on?!
Vaughn punishes Peck with strikes from the back mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vaughn lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Vaughn drops a big shot to the side of Peck's head! Oh, Peck is out! He's out cold! Vaughn jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner. In his post fight interview he thanks God. Saying that without him, he wouldn't have the power to knock his opponent senseless. Amen.
