Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tervur Braven!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Canasta!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braven swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Braven is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Canasta.
Braven lands a nice shot that snaps Canasta's head back.
Sam Canasta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Canasta scores with a three punch combo!
Canasta lands a nice shot that snaps Braven's head back.
Braven bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Braven is looking to counter punch.
Canasta bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Braven's head.
A telegraphed right hand from Braven misses the target.
Canasta keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Braven.
Canasta tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Canasta lands with a nice combination. Braven backs away looking to recover.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Braven takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Braven walks into a left hand.
Left hook, right uppercut from Canasta.
Canasta moves away from the strike by Braven.
Braven shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Canasta works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Braven is rocked!
Canasta connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Braven's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Braven - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Sam Canasta!
Sam Canasta decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
