Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pellervo Pakkotoisto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Warden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Warden is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by bodies. The key to victory for Pellervo Pakkotoisto has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Warden!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pakkotoisto tries to keep at a distance but Warden has taken the fight into the clinch.
Pakkotoisto is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Warden pulls guard effortlessly.

Pakkotoisto drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pakkotoisto jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Warden doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Pakkotoisto thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Warden pushes Pakkotoisto off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Warden throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Warden drives through and clinches with Pakkotoisto against the cage.

Warden has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Pakkotoisto is trying to keep an underhook but Warden manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Pakkotoisto is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Warden pulls his head out easily.

Pakkotoisto looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Warden pushes past his half guard into mount!

BOOM! Warden connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Warden is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pakkotoisto doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Warden.

I looks like Warden might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Warden thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pakkotoisto's head.
Pakkotoisto tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Warden has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Warden closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Warden is working to tighten is grip on Pakkotoisto's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Pakkotoisto has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Warden is really squeezing tight and eventually Pakkotoisto passes out! Warden breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
