Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lonny Seven!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Franklyn Lucas and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kakongkong fails with an attempt to clinch.
Seven swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Seven takes a jab right on the kisser.
Seven stuffs the takedown.
Seven looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Kakongkong pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Good standup being displayed there by Seven as he connects with a hook.
Seven chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kakongkong can pounce on him.
Seven throws a jab but it's blocked by Kakongkong.
Kakongkong fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Kakongkong doesn't manage to clinch there - Seven circles away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Seven stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Seven wants it to stay on the feet.
Seven is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kakongkong lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Seven has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Seven and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A frustrated look appears on Kakongkong's face as he tries to break the clinch.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kakongkong is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Seven's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kakongkong wants to get back to striking at distance but Seven won't allow it.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ayo Kakongkong.
I think Seven has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
