PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Clack Clack (ranked 24232 p4p, 3325 weight class) and Boban Turnik (ranked 243 p4p, 361 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Clack Clack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Boban Turnik!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clack attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
We've been told by Clack's head coaches at Shut Up & Train! that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Turnik closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Clack crashing to the mat! Clack uses the cage to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!

It looks like Clack Clack has been cut.
Turnik has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Turnik blocks a jab.
Turnik throws a head kick that misses
and Clack counters with a body kick that stops Turnik in his tracks momentarily.
Clack moves away from the strike by Turnik.
Turnik throws a right and a left that both miss.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Clack ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A quick step to the side and Clack tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Clack avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Turnik staying out of range there.
Turnik steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
A jab from Turnik misses.
And Clack counters with a quick kick to the body but Turnik blocks it.
Clack thuds a left hand into Turnik's body.
Turnik misses with the combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Clack looks to throw the jab but Turnik is out of range.
Turnik lands with a slapping head kick.

Clack is rocked!
Turnik connects with a quick right hand that sends Clack tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the cage, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
