Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Petchongboo Sitsongrit (ranked 3613 p4p, 25117 weight class) and Ricardo Diaz (ranked 273 p4p, 372 weight class). Diaz is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Green Goblin Mode. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Petchongboo Sitsongrit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricardo Diaz!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sitsongrit slips under a jab.
Sitsongrit connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Sitsongrit fakes the leg kick and cracks Diaz in the body.
Sitsongrit jabs Diaz right on the nose. Diaz blinks but takes it well.
A solid leg kick lands there for Sitsongrit.
Diaz scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Diaz checks a low kick from Sitsongrit.
Sitsongrit looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Diaz throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Diaz tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Sitsongrit stuns Diaz with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Diaz moves out of range of the leg kick from Sitsongrit.
Diaz pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A slapping body kick lands there for Sitsongrit.
Diaz blocks the body kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Diaz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sitsongrit manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sitsongrit lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Diaz is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sitsongrit.
Diaz gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Sitsongrit.
Sitsongrit lands a slapping body shot.
Diaz misses with a lunging right hand
and Sitsongrit counters with a stiff right hand.
Sitsongrit lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Diaz misses with a right hand
enabling Sitsongrit to counter with a crisp jab.
Diaz pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sitsongrit avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Diaz takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Diaz moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Petchongboo Sitsongrit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sitsongrit scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Diaz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sitsongrit swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sitsongrit misses with a head kick.
Sitsongrit slips a straight right by Diaz.
Diaz missing with a left hand there. Sitsongrit was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sitsongrit was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Diaz swings widly with a right hand
and Sitsongrit connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Diaz is rocked!
Diaz tries to clinch
and Sitsongrit counters with a big uppercut that drops Diaz face first to the mat! Will he beat the count?! He's struggled up to his knees on 7 but it doesn't look like he's going to make it... he's been counted out! This fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Petchongboo Sitsongrit!

The defeated Ricardo Diaz had this to say: 'I just want to thank Strike and the owner Car MacGib for the opportunity to make it out the Hood, even though I didn't win, the real win was helping to pay off my Mom's house.
