This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 14 wins and 32 losses; Domingo The Flamingo! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. The Flamingo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dalton! Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Dalton (0) vs (4) The Flamingo The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. The Flamingo tries for a kimura but Dalton is defending well. Dalton tries to bench press The Flamingo off him but The Flamingo keeps the position. Dalton wants to control but The Flamingo postures up. Both fighters take a look at the clock. Dalton trying to remain calm as The Flamingo controls from the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The Flamingo is looking to take a break and control but Dalton is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dalton can't do much from the bottom here. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down The Flamingo for as long as he can get away with. The Flamingo keeping moving, preventing Dalton from controlling successfully.
