The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zabib stuffs the takedown.
Zabib throws a right and a left that both miss.
Zabib darts in trying to clinch
and Zabib takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Abdelaziz Zabib has been cut.

Mccarty instigates a clinch.
Mccarty managing to block the knees to the body from Zabib.
Zabib fails to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mccarty breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Oooooh!!! Mccarty has knocked Zabib down with a huge combo! Mccarty steps away and waves a wobbly Zabib back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mccarty fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Zabib to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Zabib looks to clinch but Mccarty throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Zabib taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Emerson Mccarty decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
