Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gaven Ross (ranked 4584 p4p, 5429 weight class) and Giovanny Winters (ranked 460 p4p, 489 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Giovanny Winters!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the body from Ross misses
and Winters counters with a slapping leg kick.
Ross throws a low kick but Winters moves out of range easily.

Gaven Ross seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ross looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Winters has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Winters and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Well Winters has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
