Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Scott Potter (ranked 859 p4p, 368 weight class) and David Snake (ranked 112 p4p, 45 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Scott Potter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, David Snake!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potter throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Snake tries to counter with a clinch but Potter shakes him off and moves away.
Snake on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Snake tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Potter paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Snake moves in looking to clinch but Potter pushes him off.
Potter swats away the attempt to clinch by Snake.
Potter throws a hook to the side of Snake's head but Snake sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Snake moves out of range as Potter strikes.
Snake tries to counter with a clinch but Potter shakes him off and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Potter cracks Snake with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Snake tries to close the distance and clinch but Potter swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Snake moves in looking to clinch but Potter pushes him off.
Potter lunges at Snake with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Snake's hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Potter swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Snake looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Snake darts in trying to clinch
and Potter counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Snake is rocked!
We've been told by Potter's head coaches at Freaky Fight Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Potter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Potter throws a body punch but Snake moves out of range.
Potter throws out a loose jab but Snake uses good head movement to avoid it.
Potter looks to score with a jab to the body but Snake is just out of range.
Snake steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Potter.
Snake walks straight into a right hand from Potter - that's dropped him! Potter jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Snake from any more punishment! Snake complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Scott Potter!
Scott Potter was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
