Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jake Askren (ranked 1790 p4p, 1135 weight class) and Adiwang Leetoh (ranked 133 p4p, 89 weight class). Leetoh has chosen Mai Wai Bok Wai - Henri feat. Tohmo as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 25 - 1, fighting out of London, Jake Askren!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Adiwang Leetoh!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Chris Edwards and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Askren has a takedown stuffed.
A little jabbing left from Leetoh on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
We've been hearing reports that Askren has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Leetoh connects with a single shot there.
Askren shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Askren takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Askren shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Leetoh as he jumps to the side.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Askren is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Leetoh controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Askren fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Askren lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Adiwang Leetoh is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Askren closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Askren lands in his opponent's guard.

Askren wants to control from the top but Leetoh keeps moving.
Askren seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Leetoh throws a combination. Askren tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Leetoh lands a left and a right that send Askren crashing to the mat, dazed. Leetoh thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Askren is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Leetoh slaps away a takedown attempt from Askren, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Oh Askren is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Askren shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Leetoh pinned against the cage. Leetoh gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Askren looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Leetoh is fending him off so far but Askren persists. Nope, Leetoh circles away and we're back to standing.
Askren seems to have got his legs back now.
Askren takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Leetoh lands a really nice looking cross but Askren seems unphased.

Leetoh paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Leetoh pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Leetoh misses the shot to the body.
Askren avoids the body shot from Leetoh.
Leetoh digs a good body shot into Askren's ribs.
Askren lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Leetoh at a distance.

Leetoh gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Askren to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Leetoh is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Leetoh is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Leetoh is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Let's hope that Leetoh has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Leetoh lands a nice short elbow.

Leetoh wants to lay and pray for a moment but Askren keeps working.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Askren is looking to control Leetoh's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Askren avoid being mounted?
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Askren shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Leetoh as he jumps to the side.

No joy there for Leetoh, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Adiwang Leetoh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Leetoh winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
