Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tio Nuno (ranked 1539 p4p, 1276 weight class) and Sisu Ilmarinen (ranked 103 p4p, 89 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ilmarinen throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Tio Nuno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nuno connects with a nice looking jab.

It looks like Sisu Ilmarinen has been cut.
Nuno loads up on a big right hand but Ilmarinen slips the punch.
Nuno ducks under a wild hook from Ilmarinen.

letting Nuno counter with a right hand.
Ilmarinen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Nuno.
Ilmarinen feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Nunos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Ilmarinen might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nuno moves into range and connects with a jab.

Nuno shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ilmarinen napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Nuno working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Nuno goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Ilmarinen has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Nuno but great work by Ilmarinen.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ilmarinen prevents Nuno from improving his position.
Nuno is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Ilmarinen jumps into side control!

That was a close round but I would say that Tio Nuno will probably get the nod.

A nice side step and Ilmarinen releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Nuno lands with an uppercut that bounces Ilmarinen off the cage and back into range.
Nuno throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Despite the aggression on Ilmarinen's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Ilmarinen lands a big right hand that sends Nuno crashing to the mat! Ilmarinen stays standing though and waves Nuno back to his feet!

Ilmarinen fakes the body blow, causing Nuno to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Nuno goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
