Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Olivier Dujardin (ranked 614 p4p, 1026 weight class) and Kawainui Perry (ranked 80 p4p, 131 weight class). Dujardin comes to the cage accompanied by Sosa by Leto & Guy2bezbar. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Olivier Dujardin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kawainui Perry! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Chris Dean and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dujardin takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Perry fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dujardin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Dujardin throws a poor cross that misses
and Perry counters with a nice leg kick. Dujardin moves out of range of the body kick. Dujardin feinted with a counter takedown. Perry throws a big shot that misses. Dujardin misses with a few strikes there.
Dujardin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Perry moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
It looks like Olivier Dujardin has been cut. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Perry. Dujardin shrugs it off though. Dujardin misses with a hook. Olivier Dujardin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Perry gets tackled into the cage by Dujardin. Dujardin maintains the clinch. Perry throws an elbow that misses.
Perry creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Perry can't find room to land a body shot as Dujardin controls the action.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dujardin doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Dujardin lands an uppercut. Perry works on Dujardin's body with a couple of short punches. Dujardin throws a punch but it's blocked by Perry. Dujardin lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Perry.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dujardin is trying to maintain a safe position but Perry gets an underhook and turns Dujardin into the cage. Perry pushes off an throws an elbow but Dujardin leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Dujardin is trying to drag Perry to the mat but Perry just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. A short uppercut from Dujardin. Perry lands a damaging elbow. A short left from Perry. Dujardin scores with an uppercut up the middle. Perry digs a right hand into Dujardin's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Dujardin's gas tank. Perry gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Dujardin avoids a wild elbow strike from Perry. Dujardin wants to take the fight to the mat but Perry manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Perry blocking some punches.

Perry comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Dujardin's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Perry misses with a punch to the body.

Dujardin lands an uppercut. Perry creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Dujardin's defenses. Perry lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Perry misses with the head strike.

Perry tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Perry throws a head punch that misses. Dujardin avoids a wild elbow strike from Perry. Perry lands an elbow just above Dujardin 's eye. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Perry just misses with a elbow thrown towards Dujardin's brow. Dujardin prevents a body shot from Perry. Perry tries to work over Dujardin's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perry lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Perry tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dujardin's elbow. Perry blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Dujardin throws a head punch that misses. Perry struggles to land a body shot inside as Dujardin controls his hands.
Dujardin takes a shot to the head. Perry gets through Dujardin's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Perry lands a hook to the side of the head. Dujardin takes an elbow to the temple. Dujardin blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Perry lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Perry blocks an uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Dujardin. Perry misses with a punch to the body.
Dujardin takes an elbow to the forehead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dujardin turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Dujardin manages to end up in side control. Dujardin working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Dujardin taking a breather here. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Dujardin throwing shots but missing, from side control. Perry manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dujardin is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Perry jumps into side control! Dujardin can't do much from the bottom here. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kawainui Perry dominated that round. The cut man is working on Olivier Dujardin's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Dujardin throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Perry bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Perry misses with a low kick. Dujardin misses with a right hand and Dujardin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Perry ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Dujardin closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Perry scores with a decent looking hook. Dujardin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Perry. Dujardin misses with an uppercut
and Perry cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dujardin is rocked! Perry avoids a lazy jab quite easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dujardin looks to throw the jab but Perry is out of range. Perry now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Perry has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Dujardin is landing a low percentage of strikes. Kawainui Perry seems to be getting the better of the standup. The fighters circle momentarily. Perry darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Oh Dujardin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Dujardin drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dujardin seems to have got his legs back now. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Perry being controlled for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perry is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Dujardin's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Perry has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Perry works his way to full guard. Good work. Perry is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dujardin throws a sloppy strike and Perry has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Dujardin is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Perry!
