Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yin Mao (ranked 1871 p4p, 1965 weight class) and Haakon Cabrera (ranked 162 p4p, 170 weight class). Mao comes to the cage accompanied by HonestKey- Pass. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Yin Mao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Haakon Cabrera!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mao throws a big shot that misses.
Cabrera doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Mao throws a nice inside leg kick.
Mao changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Cabrera rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Mao to counter with a crisp jab.
Mao wants to land a leg kick but Cabrera is out of range.
Cabrera moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cabrera avoids the head kick by Mao.
Cabrera tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mao was well out of range. Poor timing from Cabrera.

and Cabrera counters with an inside leg kick.

A nice leg kick from Mao, right into the meat of the thigh.
Mao throws a lazy right hand but Cabrera sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Cabrera with the counter takedown but Mao avoids it easily.
That kick from Cabrera tenderised Mao's leg. Mao is trying to keep his angry face on.
A solid leg kick lands there for Cabrera.
Mao connects with a high kick.
Cabrera connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Mao definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Mao throws a head kick that misses.
Mao looks to land a right hand but Cabrera moved out of range.
Mao throws out a leg kick but Cabrera moves out of range and Mao only half commits.
Cabrera tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Mao lands with a straight right. Cabrera didn't see that one coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Cabrera ducks under a wild hook from Mao.
Despite the aggression on Cabrera's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nice sprawl there from Mao as Cabrera shoots in.

Yin Mao is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A low kick from Cabrera misses
and Mao counters with a huge left! Cabrera is in big trouble! He's backing up but Mao isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Cabrera from any more damage. A dominating finish by Mao!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yin Mao!
After winning the bout, Yin Mao thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
