Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marko Petric (ranked 3249 p4p, 1977 weight class) and Valto Joki (ranked 378 p4p, 252 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Valto Joki!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joki throws a hook to the side of Petric's head but Petric sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Petric has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Joki.
Joki throws a shot from downtown. Petric moves away and avoids it.
Joki throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Joki avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Petric looks to land a left hand but Joki moved out of range nicely.
Joki fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Joki throws a leg kick
enabling Petric to counter with a crisp jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Petric on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Petric definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Joki lands a head shot.
Petric takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Joki throws the left hand but Petric avoids the punch easily.
Petric swings widly with a right hand
and Joki counters with a straight right hand.
Petric loads up on a big right hand but Joki slips the punch.
Joki's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Petric connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Joki scrambles back to his feet.
Joki throws a hook but Petric avoids it easily.
Petric appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Petric throws a body punch but Joki moves out of range.
Joki throws out a powerful jab.
Joki throws an off balance right hand
and Petric counters with a big right hand! Oh Joki is in trouble here! Petric follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
