Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Duane Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joey Dibiassi!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson is looking to land body kicks.

Jackson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A quick step to the side and Jackson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Dibiassi with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jackson to score with a decent uppercut.
Duane Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Jackson might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Well Dibiassi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
