This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 1 losses; Billy Fischer! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Fischer clinches up against the cage. Striker is trying to pull guard but Fischer turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Striker drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Let's hope that Fischer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fischer tries to advance to mount but Striker denies him.
And that's the end of the fight! Fischer wins on points by 16 to 5. Billy Fischer thanked the fans post fight for their support. Power Striker was interviewed post fight and said 'This is a grappling tournament?'. |
