Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Peter Stewart (ranked 4121 p4p, 4010 weight class) and Andre Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stewart.

Mason looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Mason working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Stewart's head.
Stewart is trying to hold Mason in close to prevent damage but Mason has managed to pass into half guard.
Mason working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mason seems to be working for a kimura but Stewart defends the submission attempt.

Mason throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Mason is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Stewart on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Stewart is rocked!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mason connects with a nice short shot to Stewart's temple.
Oh Stewart is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mason lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Stewart! More strikes land and this one is all over! Mason jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
