Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nakamura Nabuzake (ranked 2857 p4p, 4057 weight class) and Qa Dar (ranked 0 p4p, 425 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nakamura Nabuzake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Qa Dar! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nabuzake clinches with his opponent.
Nabuzake really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Nabuzake throws a knee to the head but misses.
Nabuzake has Dar pressed against the cage, preventing Dar from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Dar tries to break free but Nabuzake pushes him back against the cage. Dar misses with a hook from the clinch. Dar has had enough of the clinch but Nabuzake keeps him there for the moment. Nabuzake leaning against his opponent.
Dar swings wildly with an uppercut but Nabuzake uses good head movement to avoid it. Nabuzake is struggling to control the position. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Dar. Nabuzake blocks an uppercut.

It looks like Qa Dar has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nabuzake lands a knee to the body.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Nabuzake takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Nabuzake taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

The referee is keeping an eye on Nabuzake - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Nabuzake is struggling to control the position. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Nakamura Nabuzake. Nabuzake lands with a good body shot. Dar blocks a low kick nicely. Dar throws a shot from downtown. Nabuzake moves away and avoids it. Dar gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dar wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Nabuzake manages to pass to side control. Nabuzake will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Dar looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nabuzake has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Nabuzake controlling from the full mount. Dar trying desperately to get to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nabuzake takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Dar is trying to stand up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dar is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Nabuzake controlling the position easily from mount. Dar is trying to stand. Nabuzake lands a nice shot to the head. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Nakamura Nabuzake dominated that round. The cut man is working on Qa Dar's cut. That's time! Back to the action! Nabuzake tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Dar is able to avoid easily. Nabuzake throws a leg kick that misses. A little jabbing left from Dar on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Nabuzake fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dar. Nabuzake clinches. Nabuzake displaying some good clinch control by pressing Dar up against the cage. Dar takes a knee right on the jaw!

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Nabuzake just misses with a elbow thrown towards Dar's brow. Nabuzake stalling in the clinch.
Still in the clinch, Nabuzake scores with a nice short uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nabuzake using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Dar is looking to break free of the clinch but Nabuzake has double underhooks. Nabuzake content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Nabuzake will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Dar up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nabuzake prevents Dar from breaking the clinch. Nabuzake drops Dar with a big knee straight up the middle! Dar is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Dar is rocked! Nabuzake throws a nice outside leg kick. Dar is still on wobbly legs! Can Nabuzake finish him? Nabuzake gets a double leg takedown into Dar's guard. Nabuzake seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Dar wants to get back to his feet but Nabuzake passes into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dar looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dar is breathing heavily. Nabuzake passes to full mount! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Nabuzake cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Nabuzake won't let Dar get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Nabuzake lands a heavy elbow. Nabuzake tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Nabuzake has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nabuzake breaks from Dar's wrist control and lands an elbow. Dar really wants to buck Nabuzake off and get back to his feet. Nabuzake controlling the position easily from mount. Dar seems to have recovered his senses. Nabuzake with good strikes from the mount here! Nabuzake controlling from mount. Dar is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nabuzake looking to control and managing it successfully. Dar is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Nabuzake controlling from the full mount. Dar wants to try and get back to his feet. Nabuzake is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dar can do to turn this around? Nabuzake looking to control and managing it successfully. You get the feeling that Dar really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Nabuzake is pushing Dar up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Nabuzake seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Nabuzake slowing the pace effectively. As Dar tries to escape again Nabuzake whips his head left to meet with another knee! That's knocked out Dar's gum shield and as Dar falls to the floor, the referee steps in to end the fight!
