The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedov gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Himusaya is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Himusaya with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Ibragimgadzhi Magomedov has been cut.
Himusaya lands a good knee to the midsection. Magomedov won't want to take too many of those.
Magomedov is breathing heavily.
Magomedov tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Himusaya smiles and moves away.

Himusaya's coach down at Cozad MMA Tokyo was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Himusaya's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Himusaya crunches a lovely knee into Magomedov's ribcage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
