Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fikayo Rice (ranked 3241 p4p, 4017 weight class) and Aleksandar Nikolic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fikayo Rice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aleksandar Nikolic!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rice tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nikolic swivels and escapes.
Nikolic throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rice moves into the clinch.
Rice breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice takedown defense from Nikolic. No joy for Rice on that attempt.
Nikolic throws a nice looking combination but Rice bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Nikolic wants to clinch.
Nikolic scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nikolic tries to clinch but Rice is having none of it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nikolic wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rice, who protects the arm well.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Rice.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Rice holds on and takes a little breather.
Rice wants to sweep but no luck.
Nikolic distracts Rice with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Rice has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Nikolic clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Nikolic has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Rice.

Rice is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Nikolic defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Rice is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Nikolic knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Nikolic for a finish.

Rice shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nikolic gets tackled into the cage by Rice. Rice maintains the clinch.
Nikolic is trying to push Rice away but Rice has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Rice jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Nikolic walks away with a smile on his face. Rice gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Nikolic misses with a series of wild punches.
Nikolic stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fikayo Rice. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nikolic is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rice pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Rice decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Rice passes the guard and advances to mount!

Aleksandar Nikolic showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Rice decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Rice fails with the takedown.
Rice gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Nikolic shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Rice eats them both and turns towards Nikolic to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Rice pushes Nikolic up against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rice can't get the takedown.
Rice will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Nikolic up against the cage.
Nikolic is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
