Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gakus Amiga (ranked 23865 p4p, 23850 weight class) and Helen Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 42 - 61 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gakus Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 45 - 58 - 9, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Salvacion slaps away a takedown attempt from Amiga, before circling back to the center of the mat. Salvacion replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Amiga blocks it well. Salvacion shoots in for a double leg but Amiga sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Amiga darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Amiga is working away from the top position though.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion has his hands clasped together around Amiga's back. He's all about the action. Amiga is controlling the pace.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Salvacion is controlling Amiga's trapped leg to prevent Amiga from advancing to side control.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Salvacion tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Amiga swivels and escapes.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Amiga shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Salvacion's guard. Salvacion controls Amiga momentarily but Amiga frees himself. Amiga controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Salvacion wants to sweep here but Amiga controlling him for the moment. Amiga is stalling in the full guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Salvacion seems keen to control Amiga's posture. Amiga showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Gakus Amiga dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Amiga shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Salvacion's guard. Amiga postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Amiga is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Salvacion can do to turn this around? Amiga slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Amiga postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Amiga content to stall in guard here.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Amiga closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Salvacion's guard. Amiga trying to control the position from guard on top but Salvacion is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Amiga controls from within his opponent's guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion has control of Amiga's left arm, preventing Amiga from doing any damage.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Amiga is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Salvacion holds on and takes a little breather.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion shoots in looking for a takedown. Amiga tries to sprawl out of it but Salvacion keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Amiga manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Amiga thinks about countering with a body kick. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Gakus Amiga dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Amiga misses with a takedown attempt - Salvacion sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Salvacion shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Amiga sprawls well. Amiga wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Salvacion gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion is adopting a defensive guard. Salvacion wants to sweep but no luck. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Salvacion seems keen to control Amiga's posture. Amiga wants to control from the top but Salvacion keeps moving. Amiga won't allow Salvacion to sweep him here. Amiga trying to control but Salvacion is working from the bottom. Salvacion keeping full guard, as Amiga tries to pass.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion has his takedown stuffed
and Amiga counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Amiga perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Amiga has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Amiga seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Salvacion for as long as he can get away with. Salvacion has his hands clasped together around Amiga's back. He's all about the action. Helen Salvacion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Gakus Amiga is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Gakus Amiga showed his dominance in that final round. Well Amiga has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
