Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Isaiah Kia!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kia tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Carter paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kia tries to clinch but Carter is having none of it.
Kia shoots for a takedown but Carter saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kia shoots in looking for a takedown but Carter manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kia's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A head kick misses from Carter.
Carter throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Isaiah Kia has been cut.
Kia fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kysre Carter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Isaiah Kia.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kia throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Carter shoots for a takedown but Kia saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kia lands with a kick to the ribs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Carter shoots for a double leg takedown but Kia sprawls well. He's pushed Carter's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Carter gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kia.

Carter drives through with a takedown into Kia's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Kia looking to hit a scissor sweep but Carter is one step ahead there.
Kia pulls Carter in close to his closed guard and prevents Carter from doing any damage or advancing position.
Carter engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Carter postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kia is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Carter, into his guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kia trying to control the position from guard on top but Carter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Carter is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kia is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kia would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kia tries to free his leg and advance position but Carter is retaining full guard.
Kia looking to sit in guard and control but Carter gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kysre Carter.
I think Carter has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
