Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Ruger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lenny Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Robbie Ruger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lenny Cole! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ruger doesn't manage to clinch there - Cole circles away.
Ruger is looking to clinch but Cole is avoiding it.
Cole scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Cole tries to score with some ground and pound. Ruger controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Cole controlling the position. Ruger regains half guard, as Cole was trying to land strikes. Cole is trying to control the action in half guard but Ruger is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Ruger blocking the ground and pound attempt from Cole. Ruger is not content to let Cole control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cole is trying to work for a kimura but Ruger is defending well.
Cole stops Ruger from getting back to his feet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Cole gets a clinch. Ruger is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Ruger prevents the takedown attempt.
Ruger throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Cole blocks it with crossed arms. Cole misses with a hook from the clinch. Ruger trying to control the position but instead, Cole has worked for underhooks and has pushed Ruger into the cage. Cole stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Ruger stalling in the clinch but Cole improves position. Cole drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ruger gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Robbie Ruger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lenny Cole. Cole is trying to drag Ruger to the mat but Ruger just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Ruger using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Cole has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Cole takes a knee to the side of the body. Ruger pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Cole has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ruger is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Ruger tries to land knees in the clinch but Cole avoids the damage to the body. Ruger looking to throw knees to the head but Cole is blocking nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cole goes for a takedown attempt but Ruger pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Cole looks gassed! Ruger with a nice cross. Ruger clinches up against the cage. Ruger stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Ruger lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Cole backwards. Cole works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Ruger pulls Cole in close to prevent any damage. Cole is looking to advance position but Ruger has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ruger tries to control but Cole wriggling away. Ruger knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cole on the ground. Cole is desperately trying to improve his position but Ruger has a good base and remains in mount. Cole tries to hold on but Ruger postures up. Cole regains half guard. Cole throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Ruger manages to pass to side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robbie Ruger dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Cole closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Ruger is controlling Cole's position as best he can from this difficult position. Cole tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ruger knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Cole stops Ruger from getting back to his feet.
Ruger wants to stand back up but Cole manages to pass into side control.

Cole is looking to take a break and control but Ruger is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cole cracks Ruger with a big elbow. Cole tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Cole works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Cole wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ruger, who protects the arm well. Ruger is not content to let Cole control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cole wants to take a breather but Ruger manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Cole. Cole thows a big elbow that misses. Cole throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Cole trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ruger throws a series of punches but Cole avoids them all with ease. Cole circles away from the clinch attempt and Cole counters with a left and a right that stings Ruger. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cole shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Cole shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ruger napping and manages to drive through into side control! Cole is looking to take a break and control but Ruger is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ruger taking a bit of punishment here - Cole scoring with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ruger regains half guard, as Cole was trying to land strikes. Cole is keen to just control but Ruger is a slippery customer. Cole thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ruger's head. Cole looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ruger with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Cole stops Ruger from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lenny Cole showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Cole avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Cole bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Ruger instigates a clinch. Ruger with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Cole trying to control the position but instead, Ruger has worked for underhooks and has pushed Cole into the cage. A left hand lands to the body for Cole.
Ruger gets through Cole's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Cole is pushing Ruger up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cole has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ruger is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Cole drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cole has had enough of the clinch but Ruger keeps him there for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruger misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Cole.

Cole wants the takedown. Ruger is fighting it off but Cole persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Ruger's guard against the cage. Cole trying to control the position from guard on top but Ruger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cole in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Cole throwing strikes from guard but Ruger blocks nicely. Ruger preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cole throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Cole. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Cole throwing strikes from guard but Ruger blocks nicely. Cole trying to control the position from guard on top but Ruger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cole tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ruger swivels and escapes. Robbie Ruger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lenny Cole. Cole shoots in for a takedown but Ruger shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ruger wants to clinch but Cole slips to the side and Cole counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Ruger tries to kick Cole off but Cole keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cole winds up and cracks Ruger with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Cole has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Cole lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Ruger tries to hold on but Cole postures up. Lenny Cole has got the better of the ground game so far. Cole moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ruger has worked his arm free - good work by Ruger!
Ruger parries the strikes from Cole easily there. Cole is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ruger to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Check out the look on Cole's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Cole advances to full mount. Cole lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Cole looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cole looking to ground and pound but Ruger is blocking nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Lenny Cole comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Cole has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
