Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Devyn Avery (ranked 25591 p4p, 4122 weight class) and Jaxen Ruane (ranked 0 p4p, 242 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jaxen Ruane!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avery closes the distance and clinches.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ruane accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Avery throws his legs up looking for a submission but Ruane uses it to pass to side control.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Avery, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
