Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jorge Baroza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Passion Pacio!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Francis DeMontford.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacio misses with a hook to the body
and Baroza counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Pacio scores with a body shot.
Pacio throws a shot to the body.
Pacio throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Baroza stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Baroza uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pacio.
Baroza appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Pacio takes a swing at Baroza's ribcage but misses.
Baroza appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Pacio throws a big shot that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pacio throws a jab but it's blocked by Baroza.
Pacio misses with a hook
and Baroza counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Pacio lands a right hook to the body.
Pacio's coach down at Freaky Fight Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Pacio's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Passion Pacio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pacio rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Pacio moves into range and connects with a jab.
Pacio loads up on a big right hand but Baroza slips the punch.
Baroza swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Pacio misses with a lunging right hand
and Baroza connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Pacio connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Pacio misses the jab.
A little feinted left hand from Baroza on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Baroza ducks right into an uppercut from Pacio.
A cross from Pacio lands.
Pacio getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Baroza slips under a jab from Pacio.
Baroza feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Baroza counters with a good low kick that Pacio was not able to check.
Pacio throws an overhand right that lands on Baroza's shoulder, as Baroza tries to avoid the shot.
Baroza swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Pacio throws a jab but it's blocked by Baroza.
Pacio throws a good cross that connects.
Baroza uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pacio.
Baroza is looking to counter punch.
Pacio throws a lazy uppercut
and Baroza counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Pacio throws an overhand right that lands on Baroza's shoulder, as Baroza tries to avoid the shot.

Pacio scores with a hook.
Pacio throws a poor cross that misses
and Baroza counters with a stiff right hand.
Baroza ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Baroza thinks about countering with a head kick.
Pacio swings away with a body shot that misses
and Baroza counters with a nice uppercut.

Pacio misses with a wild body shot.
Baroza was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Pacio is still on wobbly legs! Can Baroza finish him?
Baroza takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Pacio seems to have recovered his senses.
Pacio swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Baroza was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Pacio misses with an uppercut.
Baroza quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Pacio scores with a shot to the body.

Nice uppercut there from Pacio.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Baroza counters with a nice uppercut.
Pacio throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Baroza counters with a slapping leg kick.
Pacio misses with a lunging right hand
and Baroza counters with a crisp right that sends Pacio to the canvas! Baroza follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
