Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jerethan Treyold (ranked 2364 p4p, 3547 weight class) and Scooter Dahan (ranked 199 p4p, 267 weight class). The key to victory for Jerethan Treyold has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Treyold swinging wildly here.

Treyold definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Treyold shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Treyold was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Dahan can't do much from the bottom here.

Treyold is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Dahan working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Treyold really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Treyold has one foot on Dahan's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dahan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Treyold's guard.

A close round but Scooter Dahan will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Dahan dives in and grabs Treyold's left leg, looking for a takedown. Treyold pushes down on Dahan's head and hops out.

I really don't envy Treyold right now.

Dahan is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Dahan gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Dahan gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Dahan apologises and we restart here on the feet.
