This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Billy Fischer! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 2 losses; Sammy Carrillo!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Fischer has Carrillo up against the cage in a clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fischer has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Carrillo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fischer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fischer slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Fischer has the hooks in. Carrillo is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Fischer's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
