Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Jackson (ranked 2851 p4p, 2776 weight class) and Kenyon Collier (ranked 324 p4p, 318 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kevin Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kenyon Collier!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Jackson is looking to stand up but Collier isn't so interested in that idea.
Collier showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Collier is one step ahead there.
Jackson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Collier controls the pace.
It looks like Collier might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Collier postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Jackson controls Collier momentarily but Collier frees himself.
Collier controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Collier looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Collier is continuing to stall.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Collier tries to clinch up.
Jackson fires out a quick counter leg kick but Collier just manages to avoid it.
Jackson throws a right hand that misses

and Collier counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Jackson pulls Collier in to control the position.
Jackson is trying to control the position but Collier postures up.
Jackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Collier on the ground.
Jackson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Collier showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Collier has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Collier's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Collier misses with a takedown attempt
and Jackson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jackson swings for the body but Collier moves out of range.
A left and a right from Jackson both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Kenyon Collier has been cut.

Jackson throws a big shot that misses.
Jackson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Collier changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Jackson throws a solid leg kick but Collier takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Jackson.
Jackson scores with a nice strike.
Jackson swinging wildly here.
Collier swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Jackson throws a series of punches but Collier moves out of range.
Jackson avoids the body shot from Collier.
Jab, jab by Jackson - just one landing.
Jackson throws a series of punches but Collier avoids them all with ease.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jackson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jackson lands a nice shot that snaps Collier's head back.
Jackson looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Collier changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Collier manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jackson is looking for a counter combo.
Jackson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Jackson digs a good hook to Collier's body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Collier takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Collier tries to bum rush Jackson with a series of wild strikes but Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Jackson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kevin Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenyon Collier.
Jackson scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

A telegraphed right hand from Collier misses the target.
Jackson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Collier can do to turn this around?
Jackson thuds a left hand into Collier's body.

Jackson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Collier forces Jackson back against the cage and clinches.
Jackson is pressed up against the cage. Collier has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jackson down to the mat. Jackson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Collier misses with a hook to the body
and Jackson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

That has opened up Kenyon Collier's cut even more.
Jackson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Collier shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Collier is rocked!
Jackson lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Collier falls backwards - clearly groggy! Jackson dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kevin Jackson!
