Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wally Law (ranked 3608 p4p, 4142 weight class) and Zoltan Szobo (ranked 359 p4p, 412 weight class). Zoltan Szobo looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wally Law!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zoltan Szobo!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Szobo.
Law takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Law on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Law gets a clinch.
Law jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Szobo walks away with a smile on his face. Law gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Szobo tries to clinch up but Law circles away and keeps his distance.
Szobo scores with a jab to the body.

Law manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Szobo on his heels. He'll look to pass Szobo's guard now, I'm sure.
Law postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Law stands up and waves to Szobo to follow him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Szobo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Law paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Law throws a big counter combination but Szobo scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Szobo lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Szobo cracks Law with a right hand to the side of the head.

Law feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Szobo can't keep his opponent in guard - Law advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Law winds up and cracks Szobo with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Law looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Law is working for a kimura but Szobo is defending it quite comfortably.
Law controlling the action here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Law decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Szobo misses with a head kick.
Szobo tries a head kick but it misses.
Szobo looks winded!
Szobo scores with a leg kick.
Szobo swinging wildly here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Law tries a head kick but it misses.

Law moves into range and clinches up with Szobo.

Law breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Law scores with a jab. Szobo acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Szobo throws a sloppy head kick

and Law counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Szobo!
Law works to advance to full mount. Szobo defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Law is landing with some decent strikes but Szobo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Law lands a big elbow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Law takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Law throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Szobo has his hands clasped together but Law breaks the hold and Szobo is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Law!
