Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Paredao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paredao comes to the cage accompanied by If you want blood - ACDC. The crowd seem to be enjoying Parker's choice of entrance music: Hero. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alexander Paredao! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Peter Parker! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Joseph Jones and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker shoots for a double leg takedown but Paredao sprawls well. He's pushed Parker's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Paredao throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Paredao looks to land a combination but Parker avoids it well. Paredao rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Parker moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Parker shoots in and bounces Paredao off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Paredao is looking to stand up but Parker isn't so interested in that idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Parker looks gassed! Paredao got a little sloppy there for a moment and Parker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Paredao has managed to get both his arms back between Parker's legs - danger averted. Parker looking to hit a scissor sweep but Paredao is one step ahead there. Parker looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Paredao passes into side control.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Paredao can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Paredao stands up from Parker's guard - Paredao perhaps looking for a knockout. Parker walks into a straight right hand from Paredao. Parker displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Paredao throws out the jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Peter Parker will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

The fighters roll with the hold and Paredao manages to kick Parker off! Parker jumps back into Paredao's guard. Parker thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Paredao is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Parker is controlling him. Paredao knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Parker on the ground.

Parker postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Paredao is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! Paredao manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Parker is trying hard to land a takedown here. Paredao lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Paredao. Parker with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Paredao to score with a decent uppercut.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Paredao scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Paredao throws a series of punches but Parker avoids them all with ease. Paredao looks to land a combination but Parker avoids it well. Parker seems to have recovered his senses. Parker gets a takedown into half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Parker seems to be working for a kimura but Paredao defends the submission attempt.

A combination from Paredao does no damage. Paredao throws a solid leg kick but Parker takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Paredao. Alexander Paredao is winning the standup battle so far. Parker fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Paredao. Paredao misses with a series of wild punches.
