Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Van Roosmalen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcelo Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Roosmalen comes to the ring accompanied by tupac - ambitionz az a ridah. Kevin Van Roosmalen looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kevin Van Roosmalen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marcelo Bravo! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Van Roosmalen. Van Roosmalen looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Van Roosmalen stands up and we're back to a striking position. The fight moves into the clinch position. Van Roosmalen goes for a takedown attempt but Bravo pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bravo lands a nice looking kick to the body. Van Roosmalen takes a step back to recover. Bravo darts in and clinches Van Roosmalen up against the ropes. Bravo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Van Roosmalen misses with a straight right. Bravo clinches. Bravo tightens his grip and picks Van Roosmalen up, before dumping him to the ground. Van Roosmalen manages to land in guard. Bravo passes Van Roosmalen's left leg - he's now in half guard. Bravo gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
That's one minute gone in the round. Bravo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Bravo decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Van Roosmalen tries to clinch but Bravo moves away and Bravo counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Van Roosmalen's guard now. Bravo decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Van Roosmalen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bravo swivels and escapes. Bravo closes the distance and clinches. Bravo taking a breather. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bravo lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Van Roosmalen taking some punishment here, with Bravo in his half guard. Van Roosmalen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Van Roosmalen tries to get out of the position. Van Roosmalen tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Bravo has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Bravo throws some wild stikes that Van Roosmalen manages to avoid easily.
Van Roosmalen is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Van Roosmalen is squirming around, avoiding Bravo's attempts to control the action. Bravo controlling from mount.

Bravo get's back to his feet. Bravo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Van Roosmalen throws a lazy head kick and Bravo counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Van Roosmalen's guard now. Bravo postures up.
Bravo stands up from guard. Let's bang! Bravo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Bravo looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bravo stops Van Roosmalen from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Bravo lands with a punch from half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Bravo stops Van Roosmalen from getting back to his feet.
Bravo is looking to take a break and control but Van Roosmalen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bravo passes the guard and advances to mount! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bravo landing strikes from the mount and Van Roosmalen is in trouble! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcelo Bravo dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Bravo closes the distance and clinches. Bravo goes for a takedown attempt but Van Roosmalen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Van Roosmalen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Bravo pushing down on Van Roosmalen's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Bravo slows the pace down in half guard. Van Roosmalen wants to get back to full guard. Van Roosmalen is looking to escape. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Van Roosmalen tries to get to full guard but Bravo has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bravo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Van Roosmalen is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
