Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kona Kush (ranked 1740 p4p, 1920 weight class) and Vincent Duboulay (ranked 136 p4p, 145 weight class). Duboulay has chosen World On Fire as his entrance music. Kona Kush has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kona Kush! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vincent Duboulay! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duboulay takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Duboulay's coach down at Gold Samurai\'s Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Duboulay's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Kush pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Duboulay shoots in looking for a takedown. Kush tries to sprawl out of it but Duboulay keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kush manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Duboulay on the wrong end of a nice hook. Kush lands an overhand right. Duboulay slips a jab from Kush. Kush lands with an overhand left. Kush tests Duboulay's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Duboulay is rocked! Kush is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Kush waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Duboulay. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Duboulay to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Duboulay is still in real trouble! Can Kush finish him? Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kush throwing strikes from guard but Duboulay blocks nicely. Duboulay is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Duboulay throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Duboulay looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Kush passes into half guard.
Duboulay seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duboulay blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kush. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kush wants to pass the guard but Duboulay is defending well. Kush looks to land a strike but Duboulay avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Duboulay escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kush gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Duboulay throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kush postures up in Duboulay's guard and throws a big left but Duboulay blocks it. Duboulay is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Duboulay is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kush is aware though and is defending well. Kush working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Duboulay had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kush defends it easily. Kush trying to control the position from guard on top but Duboulay is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Duboulay looking for a guillotine here but Kush defends easily.
Kush throws a big elbow that misses. Kush is fighting to break Duboulay's control of his arms but Duboulay is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Kush got a little sloppy there for a moment and Duboulay has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kush has managed to get both his arms back between Duboulay's legs - danger averted.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kush scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Kush trying to control but Duboulay is working from the bottom. Kush pushes down on Duboulay's leg and manages to get into half guard. Kush is pressing down on Duboulay's thigh, looking to free his foot. Duboulay is holding on for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kush is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Duboulay has managed to free his arm - good work. Duboulay is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kush pulls his head out easily. Kush wants to free his trapped foot but Duboulay is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Duboulay looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Duboulay tries to get to full guard but Kush has control of the leg. Kush lands strikes from half guard. Kush is trying to work for a kimura but Duboulay is defending well.
Duboulay wants to control but Kush is keeping busy.
Kush thows a huge punch but Duboulay dodges it nicely.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kona Kush dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Kush connects with a body shot. Vincent Duboulay is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Duboulay will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Duboulay shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kush manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Kush looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Duboulay is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Duboulay stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kush swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duboulay wants to control from the top but Kush keeps moving. Kush tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kush is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Duboulay can do to turn this around?
That's one minute gone in the round. Duboulay makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Duboulay cracks Kush with a solid left hand. Duboulay wants to control from the top but Kush keeps moving. Duboulay preventing the sweep. Kush is trying to control the position but Duboulay postures up. Kush working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Duboulay doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Duboulay manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Duboulay must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Duboulay tries to stand but Kush is controlling from the bottom. Duboulay lands a couple of elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duboulay content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Duboulay postures up.

Duboulay is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Duboulay is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kush defends it well. Duboulay prevents Kush from improving his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duboulay tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kush knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Vincent Duboulay has got the better of the ground game so far. Kush slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Duboulay controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Kush has his foot on Duboulay's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Duboulay works his way back into a safe position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kush keeping moving, preventing Duboulay from controlling successfully. Kush lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Kush drops back, looking for a kneebar! Duboulay looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Duboulay looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Duboulay! Kush is trying to improve his position. Duboulay tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Duboulay has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Duboulay just content to control the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Vincent Duboulay showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round! Duboulay misses with a body kick. Duboulay drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Duboulay tries to move to full mount but Kush actually manages to regain half guard. Kush is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Duboulay is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Kush! Duboulay is working for a guillotine from mount but Kush frees his head quite easily.
Kush is looking to improve his position but Duboulay isn't that keen on the idea. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duboulay wants to control the pace but Kush is squirming around nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duboulay controlling his opponent. Duboulay trying to control but he's not successful this time. Duboulay prevents Kush from getting the reversal. Kush tries to improve his position but Duboulay has taken his back! Duboulay has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Kush tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Duboulay pushes Kush away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Vincent Duboulay!
