and Jufre counters with a good, hard body kick but MacArthur Jnr shrugs it off.
MacArthur Jnr looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

and Jufre counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Robert MacArthur Jnr has been cut.
MacArthur Jnr tries to score with a low kick but Jufre moves his leg out of the way.

and Jufre connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jufre throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

A slapping body kick lands there for Jufre.

Both fighters circling a little - Jufre finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Jufre lands a right hook to the body.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Jufre! MacArthur Jnr is out on his feet! Jufre rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - MacArthur Jnr is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! MacArthur Jnr is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Valentino Jufre!
After the fight, Valentino Jufre was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
