Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Neil Nucombe (ranked 18538 p4p, 3048 weight class) and Martin Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns comes into a darkened arena with his song building. will ospreay theme kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martin Burns!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burns closes the distance and clinches.
Nucombe swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Burns breaks the clinch.

Burns shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Burns showed some decent athleticism there.
Burns wants to pass to mount but Nucombe is defending the position.
Burns works his foot free and advances to mount.
Nucombe tries to lock up and control but Burns gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Burns is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Nucombe can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Nucombe wants to hold on but Burns pushes him away.

Burns goes for an armbar but Nucombe turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Nucombe.
Nucombe trying to control but Burns is working from the bottom.

Burns is looking to cinch up a triangle. Nucombe throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Burns's body to avoid the submission. Burns has instead reached around Nucombe's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Burns arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
