The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Heizo. No joy for Jones on that attempt.
Heizo rushes Jones and presses him up against the cage.
Jones misses with an elbow strike.

Shiro Heizo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Donnie Jones.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Jones just misses with a elbow thrown towards Heizo's brow.
Jones pushes off an throws an elbow but Heizo leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Heizo looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Jones is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Heizo is defending well.

Jones pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Heizo stops a takedown attempt from Jones.
Heizo has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jones uses from the top position.
Jones throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Heizo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Jones drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Jones seems to have locked his on tight now - Heizo screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Jones, as he picks up the win!
