Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Remy Leeuwenhoek (ranked 1003 p4p, 846 weight class) and Danny Vargas (ranked 112 p4p, 98 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Vargas!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leeuwenhoek throws a leg kick that misses.
Leeuwenhoek bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Leeuwenhoek fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vargas has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Vargas checks a low kick from Leeuwenhoek.
Leeuwenhoek turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Leeuwenhoek definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Leeuwenhoek misses with a low kick as Vargas jumps back.
A nice side step and Vargas releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
A slow jab from Vargas misses its intended target.

Leeuwenhoek throws a solid leg kick but Vargas takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Leeuwenhoek.
Vargas takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Leeuwenhoek uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vargas.
Leeuwenhoek throws a low kick but Vargas avoids it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vargas. Leeuwenhoek does a little dance to reset his feet.
A clash of legs there as Vargas blocks the low kick.
Vargas lands a right hook to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Vargas counters with a crisp one two that drops Leeuwenhoek! Vargas thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Leeuwenhoek to his feet! Leeuwenhoek is in big trouble!
Leeuwenhoek is rocked!
Vargas walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Leeuwenhoek drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Vargas swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Leeuwenhoek's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
