Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Janne Virtanen (ranked 807 p4p, 1612 weight class) and Kristopher Marks (ranked 56 p4p, 113 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Virtanen uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Marks has time to react.
Virtanen drops Marks with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Marks looks back up at him and smiles so Virtanen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Marks is rocked!
Virtanen has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Marks is holding his hands too far apart here. Virtanen throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Marks is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
