The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jolt misses with a looping left.
Boykin pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
The fighters circling - Boykin throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jolt misses with a double jab.
Jolt tries to score with a low kick but Boykin moves his leg out of the way.

Boykin shoots in and gets a takedown into Jolt's guard.
Boykin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jolt wants to stand up but Boykin is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boykin trying to control the position from guard on top but Jolt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Boykin stops Jolt from standing up.

Boykin drops back looking for a leg! Jolt is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jolt manages to kick Boykin off! Boykin jumps back into Jolt's guard.
Jolt wants to stand up but Boykin is controlling him.

Boykin has gone for a leg lock! Jolt slips out almost immediately though and dives into Boykin's guard.

Jolt distracts Boykin with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Jolt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boykin on the ground.

Boykin is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Jolt has his hands clasped together but Boykin extends and breaks Jolt's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Boykin.
