Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawindi Buktot (ranked 23807 p4p, 23759 weight class) and Kulata Bitok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 43 - 62 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 68 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kulata Bitok!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Bitok shoots in for a takedown but Buktot shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Buktot is trying to control Bitok's posture but Bitok avoids it.

Bitok shoots in for a double leg but Buktot sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Buktot quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Bitok looks to score with a jab to the body but Buktot is just out of range.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bitok closes the distance and clinches up with Buktot, looking for a takedown. Bitok pushes Buktot against the cage but Buktot circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dawindi Buktot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kulata Bitok.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bitok enables Buktot to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bitok manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Bitok is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bitok manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Buktot on his heels. He'll look to pass Buktot's guard now, I'm sure.

Well Buktot has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
