Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 23751 p4p, 23768 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 41 - 59 - 10, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 58 - 49 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Mibangon shoots in for a double leg but Buut sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Buut shoots in and drives through. Mibangon sprawls well.
Mibangon thinks about countering with a body kick.
Mibangon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Mibangon is stalling in the full guard.

Buut seems keen to control Mibangon's posture.

Mibangon pulls Buut in close to his closed guard and prevents Buut from doing any damage or advancing position.

Mibangon tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Buut stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mibangon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Buut slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Mibangon is trying to control the position but Buut postures up.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Buut takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

That's time! Mibangon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Mibangon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Buut as he jumps to the side.

Despite the aggression on Buut's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Buut drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Buut throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mibangon works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Walay Buut showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Buut fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mibangon avoids it really well and circles away.
Mibangon tries for a takedown but Buut sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Buut is trying to counter with his kicks.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Mibangon goes for a double leg but Buut avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Buut continues to drive forward.
Buut thinks about the counter body kick.
Mibangon has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Buut is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Buut drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mibangon gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Walay Buut comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Buut has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
