Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Larry Bane (ranked 4076 p4p, 4075 weight class) and Muslim Magomedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Muslim Magomedov!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bane manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Magomedov on his heels. He'll look to pass Magomedov's guard now, I'm sure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Magomedov is looking for a triangle but Bane pushes his legs off easily.

Magomedov throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Magomedov is pulling down on Bane's head to control his posture.
Magomedov is trying to control the position but Bane postures up.

Magomedov keeping full guard, as Bane tries to pass.
Bane slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Bane lands a couple of elbows.
Magomedov trying to keep a closed guard but Bane is proving a slippery customer.
Bane knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Magomedov on the ground.

Magomedov has his foot on Bane's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bane works his way back into a safe position though.
Bane missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Magomedov is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Magomedov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Bane looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Bane wants to improve his position but Magomedov is controlling well.
Magomedov is controlling the pace.
Magomedov moves into full mount! Bane won't be happy about that!

Magomedov throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Magomedov trying to control but Bane is having none of it.

Bane tries to improve his position but Magomedov has taken his back! Magomedov has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Bane tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Magomedov pushes Bane away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
