This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 15 wins and 33 losses; Domingo The Flamingo! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 16 wins and 33 losses; Filmore Everett! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. The Flamingo has Everett up against the ropes in a clinch.
The Flamingo has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Everett is trying to keep an underhook but The Flamingo manages to get the takedown into half guard. The Flamingo won't allow Everett to sweep him here. Everett wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and The Flamingo is now in half guard. That's seven minutes gone in the round. Everett is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, The Flamingo has escaped the position, nice work there. Everett tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Everett has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The Flamingo sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Everett is thwarting The Flamingo's attempts to control the position. Everett is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and The Flamingo defends it well.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Everett uses his free foot to push down on The Flamingo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for The Flamingo. Score +3 for passing guard: The Flamingo (5) vs (8) Everett The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Everett trying to control but he's not successful this time. The Flamingo is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's ten minutes gone in the round. Everett trying to control the action but The Flamingo is working from the bottom. The fighters are battling for position here. The Flamingo manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Everett trying to control but The Flamingo is working from the bottom. The Flamingo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Everett not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The Flamingo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Everett wants to control from the top but The Flamingo keeps moving. The Flamingo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Everett can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Everett trying to control but The Flamingo is working from the bottom.
That's twelve minutes gone in the round. Everett might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control The Flamingo haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The Flamingo trying to keep a closed guard but Everett is proving a slippery customer.
Everett is pushing down on The Flamingo's leg trying to pass to half guard. The Flamingo is fighting to maintain full guard but Everett has managed to sneak the leg through. The Flamingo actively working from the bottom here. The Flamingo trying to control but Everett postures up.
That's thirteen minutes gone in the round. The Flamingo is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Everett is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Everett is trying to work for a kimura but The Flamingo is defending well.

That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. The Flamingo makes his way to full guard. A much better position for The Flamingo. The Flamingo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Everett is aware though and is defending well. The Flamingo keeping full guard, as Everett tries to pass. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The Flamingo is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Everett trying to control the position from guard on top but The Flamingo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
