Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stan Stewert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mika Hamalainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mika Hamalainen will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stan Stewert!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamalainen gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stewert to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Hamalainen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stewert can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hamalainen thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Hamalainen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Stewert is aware though and is defending well.
Stewert drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stewert jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Stewert shoots in and bounces Hamalainen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Stewert is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Hamalainen with him. Hamalainen is trying to defend but Stewert has an arm under the chin now! Hamalainen grimaces and is forced to tap out!
