Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Enzo McMillan (ranked 4425 p4p, 4038 weight class) and Carsen Bowen (ranked 363 p4p, 340 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Enzo McMillan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carsen Bowen! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McMillan with a lazy takedown attempt and Bowen counters with a right hand to the body. McMillan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bowen is fending him off so far but McMillan persists. Nope, Bowen circles away and we're back to standing. Bowen throws a counter combo. Bowen wants to clinch up but McMillan keeps it at a distance. McMillan went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. A telegraphed takedown attempt from McMillan is defended easily by Bowen. Bowen unleashes a big counter combination but McMillan bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Enzo McMillan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bowen avoids a punch combination nicely.
McMillan clinches up with Bowen and pushes him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McMillan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bowen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. McMillan preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. McMillan kicks off Bowen and gets to his feet. Bowen shoots in for a takedown but McMillan shows good takedown defense. McMillan is looking to counter the offense by Bowen and move into the clinch. Bowen tries to clinch but McMillan moves out of range. McMillan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bowen tries to avoid it but McMillan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bowen to the ground. Bowen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. McMillan circles away from the clinch attempt.
McMillan shoots in but Bowen avoids the takedown attempt easily. Bowen avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bowen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and McMillan holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. McMillan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. McMillan has Bowen up against the cage in a clinch.
McMillan has Bowen pushed against the cage. McMillan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. McMillan dives in for a single leg takedown but Bowen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. McMillan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McMillan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bowen defends it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McMillan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bowen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McMillan controlling from side mount. McMillan gets to mount! Bowen was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, McMillan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Bowen tries to hold on but McMillan pushes him away. McMillan controlling the pace for now. McMillan lands a big elbow. McMillan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Enzo McMillan dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
McMillan moves into range and clinches up with Bowen. McMillan jumps into guard, dragging Bowen to the mat.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now McMillan is on top in guard.
Enzo McMillan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bowen is trying to control the position but McMillan postures up. McMillan passes into half guard. Bowen wants to control but McMillan is keeping busy and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McMillan stands up out of the half guard. McMillan shoots for a double leg takedown but Bowen sprawls well. He's pushed McMillan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bowen blocks a low kick nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. McMillan shoots in and gets a takedown into Bowen's guard. Bowen is breathing heavily. McMillan passes into half guard. McMillan takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Bowen is defending against the submission attempts here by McMillan.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McMillan drops an elbow to the side of Bowen's head. McMillan lands strikes from half guard. McMillan trying to control the pace. McMillan winds up and cracks Bowen with a swinging punch to the side of the head. McMillan has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Bowen defend it? McMillan steps over the head and cranks it - Bowen is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for McMillan!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Enzo McMillan!
