Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Trond Pedersveen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donald Natush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Natush has chosen Careless Whisper as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Trond Pedersveen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Donald Natush! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Natush throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Natush throws a body punch but Pedersveen moves out of range. Nice defenses there by Pedersveen. Natush throws a leg kick which misses Pedersveen's front leg but catches the back leg as Pedersveen tries to avoid it. Donald Natush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Natush misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pedersveen.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Natush. Pedersveen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Natush but Natush pushes him off and we're back to square one. Pedersveen shoots in for a takedown but Natush shows good takedown defense. Natush darts in and clinches Pedersveen up against the cage. Pedersveen prevents Natush from breaking the clinch. Pedersveen managing to block the knees to the body from Natush.

Natush breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Natush throws a right and a left that Pedersveen avoids nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Natush. Natush feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Pedersveen is breathing heavily. Pedersveen controls Natush momentarily but Natush frees himself. Natush is looking to stand up but Pedersveen won't let him. Natush seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pedersveen is pulling down on Natush's head. It's preventing any offense from Natush, at least for the moment. Natush controlling from the top position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Natush wants to stand but Pedersveen is controlling his posture from full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Natush stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pedersveen swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Donald Natush dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Natush throws a chopping leg kick but Pedersveen manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Pedersveen fails with the takedown and Natush decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pedersveen's guard. Natush wants to stand but Pedersveen has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Natush drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Natush jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Natush is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Natush passes into half guard. Pedersveen trying to control from the bottom.
Natush perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Natush wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Natush tries to pass the half guard into mount. Pedersveen knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Pedersveen regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pedersveen being controlled here, momentarily. Pedersveen is trying to control the position but Natush postures up. Natush trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Pedersveen is trying to keep Natush in close.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Natush stopping the sweep attempt from Pedersveen. Natush stands and throws Pedersveen's legs to the side, diving into side control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Natush gets to mount! Pedersveen was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Donald Natush showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Natush fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pedersveen, pushing him back against the cage. Pedersveen fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Natush has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Pedersveen regains guard immediately. Natush tries to free his leg and advance position but Pedersveen is retaining full guard. Pedersveen can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Natush controls the pace. Pedersveen working a defensive guard but Natush passes into half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Natush controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Natush not landing any meaningful shots this time. Pedersveen wants to control but Natush is keeping busy.
Natush has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Natush throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Pedersveen because Natush loaded up on that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Natush controlling from the full mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pedersveen taking shots to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Natush content just to control the position here.
Despite being in the dominant position, Donald Natush just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Natush fails to land with a series of punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Natush misses with a low kick.
Natush tries to bum rush Pedersveen with a series of wild strikes but Pedersveen uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Trond Pedersveen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pedersveen misses with a takedown attempt and Natush counters by moving into the clinch. Natush wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Natush misses with a double jab.
Natush takes a swing at Pedersveen's ribcage but misses. Trond Pedersveen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Natush shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Natush is keen to just control but Pedersveen is a slippery customer.
And that's the end of the fight! Donald Natush comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Natush has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
